Becoming a member
All new members must be approved by the Executive Committee. Each member will complete a registration form and provide information about themselves and their business. In order to be considered for membership, a member must be a business in good standing for at least one (1) year. The executive Committee reserves to the right to deny membership in their discretion. Unless otherwise agreed on by the members being affected and the Executive Committee, any new member may represent a trade, industry or service that is not already represented by an existing member.

Committee Participation
All members must agree to participate on a sub-committee (of their choice). Members may serve on more than one committee.

Behavior
All members are expected to behave in a respectful manner at all times. No member shall speak disparagingly about another member orally or in writing. Members shall support each other and Mom4Profit in the community by speaking positively about each other and Mom4Profit and promoting the businesses of all members. Members are expected to respond to communications with each other in a timely manner.

Referrals
Members shall refer business to other members as frequently as possible. Each member is required to make six (6) total substantial referrals among at least three (3) different members. New members’ referral responsibility will be prorated at the discretion of the Executive Committee.

Cost
Mom4Profit will now charge a membership fee. The fee will be $60.00 annually, due the first of September each year. If a member joins in the middle of the year, their fee will be prorated on a monthly basis accordingly. In addition to membership fees, each member may be required from time to time to pay additional fees that may arise in connection with Mom4Profit events. Such fees may be required to pay for use of a display table for the member’s business, site rental, supplies, advertising and marketing, etc.

Meetings
Members are required to attend the monthly meetings. Members are expected to be on time to each meeting and should respond in advance as directed on the blog. A sign-in sheet will be provided at each meeting and each member will be responsible for signing the sign-in sheet. Each member may miss up to three (3) meetings per year. However, no member may miss more than two consecutive meetings. Additional missed meetings may cause the member to lose her membership with no refund of the membership fee.

Prospective members may attend one (1) free meeting before joining as a regular member. If the prospective member decides to join and is accepted by the Executive Committee, said member will be required to attend all future meetings and will be subject to the attendance rules.
